Consent & comfort is incredibly important to us.

We take your safety extremely seriously. Escapism is impossible in an environment where people feel even the slightest uncomfortable. Therefore we have a zero-tolerance policy with regards to any non-consensual behaviour and any individual reported behaving inappropriately will be barred from future events. 

To this end we incorporate a few safeguards which make a world of difference. 

1. We have staff in every room (not just the dungeon) who have been asked to prioritise the safety of our guests. This means if you ever need any support you can simply look up and catch eyes with one of them.

2. Your hosts will always be around and we are extremely approachable! Please let us know if you have any concerns on the night and we will be happy to help. 

3. Both the hosts have passed their Playsafe (Link) training, and an additional Playsafe accredited Monitor is always onsite. 

4. There are always a few lines included on etiquette and consent in the welcome speech to set the tone for the evening as respectful and well-mannered. 

5. This is not a public event - around 50% of the attendees are known personally by us, and the other 50% are friends of friends. This means everybody is extremely nice, respectful and trusted to behave appropriately - and also very nice to talk to! It has been noted by many past attendees that this makes a world of difference to the atmosphere at Passing Fancies compared to many other similar parties.
